Campsite regulations - Scottish Weekend 2018

These rules apply to all people that enter the Scottisch Weekend campsite, “BIJ ÖS”. Failure to comply with these regulations will give the organization the right to deny individuals access to the campsite.
 
Registration and accommodation
 
✓   Campers can park on the campsite from Thursday 14:00 until Monday 12:00.
✓ As of 2018, you can book and pay your campsite stay in advance. The pre-sale will be shut down on September 1. 
The deposit due needs to be in the account of the Werkgroep P.B.C.B vzw by September 5 2018 at the very latest. 
After receipt of your payment, you will be sent a confirmation e-mail. Please print and present it to the reception at the entrance upon arrival at the camp site.  
If your payment does not reach out bankaccount in time, your reservation will be cancelled automatically.

✓   Campers need to register and pay the camping fee upon arrival at the latest. The camping fee is 20 euro per person (if paid out in front), regardless of the number of nights. Included in the camping fee are: camp pitch, showers, toilets and electricity. 
✓ Campers arriving by campervan or caravan, pay 23.00 euro per person (if paid out in front), regardless of the number of days they stay with us. Included in that price is: the pitch, the use of the showers & toilets, and electricity.
✓ Campers who would prefer to pay on site can report to the reception at the entrance of the camp site on the day itself.  The camping fee will be 25.00 euro per person, regardless of the number of days they stay with us . Included in that price is: the pitch, the use of the showers & toilets, and electricity. Campers arriving by campervan or caravan, pay 28.00 euro on site, regardless of the number of days they stay with us. Included in that price is: the pitch, the use of the showers & toilets, and electricity.
✓ Campers need to report to the reception upon arrival with their reservation confirmation e-mail or with the camping fee due. 
✓   As a camp pitch we assign: 
-  For caravans and campers: 4.5 m x 9.5 m long
-  For tents : 4.5 m x 4.5 m

✓   Campers are advised to pay their camping fee in advance, to allow a smooth and quick check-in
✓   Campers are required to park on the specific camp pitch allocated to them by the organization. 
✓   Excavation or churning of the soil is strictly forbidden, as well as the sawing or breaking of branches from the trees.
✓   Dogs need to be kept on a leash at all times. The animals’ feces need to be cleared away immediately.
✓   Silence needs to be respected on the campsite. It is not allowed to make noise at night. 
✓   All campsite passageways and roads need to remain accessible for the emergency services.
 
Vehicles
 
✓   Campers can only drive their vehicle to their camp pitch to load and unload camping gear. The vehicle can remain on the allocated pitch for the complete duration of the weekend.
✓   It is not permitted to drive the vehicle across the campsite at any other times. Campers who would like to use their vehicle for other reasons during the weekend, will need to park their vehicle on one of the other parkings, outside of the campsite.
✓   Between 22:00 and 7:00 no traffic of any kind will be allowed on the campsite.
✓   The max. speed limit on the campsite is 10 km/h.
✓   It is completely forbidden to park or station vehicles on any of the passageways and roads on the campsite.
 
Tidiness
 
✓   Campers are requested to keep their pitch clean at all times (trash bags will be handed out upon arrival and will be collected and replaced regularly throughout the weekend)
 
Facilities
 
✓   Sufficient electricity connections will be provided on the campsite. The maximum power connection permitted is limited to 6 ampere.
✓   It is not allowed to use electrical stoves, microwaves or coffee machines. Any cooking -  or heating equipment, or anything that uses gas or petroleum, needs to comply with all legal regulations and needs to be set up and used solely as indicated in the user manual.
✓   The organisation does not have extension cords to share. All campers have to provide their own extension cords to connect with electrical hubs on the camp site. All cords used must be fully unwinded. 
✓   For a fee, campers can have breakfast in a catering tent on the camp site (between 7:00 and 10:00).
✓   Pre-booking is required at the camp site registration desk, ultimately by 18:00 of the day before.
✓   Vouchers can also be purchased from the desk at the entrance of the campsite.
 
Safety
 
✓   Open  fires (campfires, barbecues, torches, candles, etc.) are not allowed. 
✓   Individuals who disturb the public order, incite violence or possess weapons and/or drugs, will be removed from the campsite immediately. The organization will report each incident to the police.
 
Liability
 
✓   Lodging on the campsite is at your own risk, the organization is not liable for any accidents or theft.
✓   Campers can report any nuisance to the desk at the entrance of the campsite. The organization will staff the desk around the clock.
